Broadly Patchwork (formally Sew Creative) is a patchwork and quilting shop in the middle of The Broads, between Norwich and the beautiful Norfolk coast. We are based at Wroxham Barns, an award winning visitor attraction which offers shopping, eating, crafts and family fun – and there’s parking!
The shop has been going for over 20 years and based at Wroxham Barns for over 18 years, in its current premises for about seven. We’ve got a great range of fabrics - many 100% cotton - from well-known brands such as Moda, Makower, Henry Glass, Andover, Stof, Studio E, Blank and many more to appeal to the discerning quilter. I’m really proud to say that we became Liberty Stockist at the end of last year and we’ve got both collections – English and Cottage Garden. Liberty does have a certain look and feel; in fact they are wonderful just to walk by the shelf and stroke.

Linda and Kathleen have been part of the team from very early on, supporting Sylvia who set up the shop. Their depth of knowledge is second to none, whether it’s advice about techniques, colour or just a little extra support to finish a UFO that’s been lurking in the cupboard for too long. Gill finished her City and Guilds last year and has just embarked on the Diploma; she came in brandishing fabric she’d just dyed and loads of ideas; I’m thinking – workshop possibilities. Finally, I am part way through my City & Guilds certificates so the shop is buzzing with ideas and experience. Please pop in and pick our brains – we love to help and share our knowledge.
We offer a “one-stop” approach to quilting: the fabrics and notions, workshops to help develop skills and techniques and a long-arm quilter to help to finish off that quilt that’s a bit too big to go through the throat of a domestic sewing machine. Also, we have regular “rock up and sew” days to help keep the UFOs under control.
Welcome to our new website; you can also find us via our Facebook page and other social media (once I get the hang of it…). We really look forward to welcoming you into the shop and helping with any quilting questions you may have. If you are regular customers you’ll also notice, hopefully, that we’re undergoing a re-brand with new logos and signs.
Hope to see you soon,
